CST - Foundations

Learn the fundamental skills of Craniosacral Therapy

This course is for health professionals in the perinatal and birthing profession including:

lactation consultants, manual therapists, infant feeding specialists, birth and perinatal care specialists

who want to expand their portfolio of services and deliver life changing results for their clients, while also growing their practice.

These simple techniques will help you to improve peoples’ lives, and quickly.

Craniosacral gives babies quick relief from common, yet severe symptoms.

Babies are struggling to latch well, sleep peacefully and feel comfortable in their body.

Their parents are told:
"This is normal for babies."
or
"Don't worry. They'll grow out of it".

Parents know this isn't true.

And it doesn't have to be this way!

Even one CST session can make a huge impact.

What is Craniosacral Therapy?!
And why should you use it?

The body holds onto trauma. CST supports the body to release it.
Sounds wonderful, right? Because it is.

Craniosacral is a very gentle touch therapy that uses subtle and slow techniques to not only find areas of tension in the body, but to release them. This tension can cause chronic pain, uncomfortable symptoms and anxiety.

When you learn craniosacral therapy, you'll be able to help people of all ages, including your loved ones. They'll be able to process and release tension so they can be more comfortable in their body and live a life full of vitality.

After this training, you'll be able to:

Assessment techniques

Use your hands AND intuition to find areas in the body that are holding onto trauma and tension.

Treatment Techniques

Guide and support the body to release tension, allowing the body to heal and work optimally.

Nervous System Support

Regulate the nervous system so the body can be brought into a state of rest and digest and out of a state of shut down/fight flight.

Learn Craniosacral techniques that you can use on any body

Intuitive, yet specific ways to find restrictions in the body that create an imbalance in the system, causing troublesome symptoms.

Simple treatment techniques to release these restrictions so the body can move and function optimally, as nature intended.

Learn these techniques on a child, teen or adult. Why? Because learning them on babies is like learning to run before you crawl.

Make significant change with this
3 Step Process.

3 Step Process:

1.    Assess the body for restrictions with your eyes, intuition and your hands

2.    Treat the restrictions you find with fascial release and unwinding, craniosacral rhythm reorganizing, and energy exchange

3.    Watch for "signs of release" to know that you're using the right amount of pressure. This helps build up your confidence!
It's important to learn on an older child, or adult because they are more likely to stay still while you try out these subtle techniques. Babies move, cry, feed, squirm and all kinds of other things. Best to start on a still body than a moving target. But don't worry, we talk a lot about the baby experience even in this first course.

What our grads have to say

Tracey Jedrzejek
IBCLC

Meaghan is incredibly knowledgeable. I feel SO fortunate to have found her. She has helped me expand my lactation practice so that I can now help even more babies when all the traditional lactation solutions don't work.

Malorie Millet
MS, CCC-SLP, CIMI-II

This course is a must for anyone who is hands-on working with babies. Meaghan gives you the information and skill set needed to begin making a difference from day 1. She is also just an amazing human being.

Kelly Menne
CLC

I thoroughly enjoyed the course. Meaghan is very accessible both in her teaching and when you have questions. I look forward to being able to take more of her courses.

Shannon McLennon
IBCLC

The training was executed beautifully. I feel motivated to begin CST immediately! Meaghan is great, knowledgeable and super funny and you won't regret learning with her.

This course is for you if you are a:

Lactation Consultant

When your conventional lactation skills are not working to help a baby, it's important to know WHY they aren't working. CST will give you the answers.

Manual Therapist

Combined with your educational background, craniosacral could be the thing that answers your questions that your profession doesn't have the answers for.

Doula or Support Specialist

You see all kinds of traumatic events in your field, along with some beautiful ones. Your people trust you, and would love for you to treat their babies as well.

Midwife

You know birth very well, and imagine the amount of overwhelm you could keep some families from having if you performed craniosacral on their baby a few days after birth.

You might be asking:
"But can I skip this part?"

CST Foundations is where you learn HOW to do craniosacral therapy. Infant CST Level 1 is how to take the things you've learned and use them on babies.

So, no. You would be very lost if you didn't learn how to do CST in this course.

If you've already done CST training before, then you might qualify for our CST Foundations Mini course.

"Am I going to make a return on my investment?"

I'm going to ask you a question. How many people in your area have trained with Beames CST?
If the answer is none, then no one in your area is going to have as high-level training in Infant Craniosacral therapy as you will have.

In the market, this training is the most in-depth, supported, and advanced level of training out there.

Not only will you be known as the Go-To CST practitioner in your area, but you are going to give parents the most impressive results for their baby, and these parents are going to talk!

Word will travel fast, and you will likely be in high-demand.

In my first year, I went from seeing 3 babies a week to seeing 20 babies a week with a 5 week wait list.

Parents from far and wide will be searching for you. And they are willing to travel if they know that you're going to help their baby.

You will make your investment back after treating just 6 babies.

Yes, the live classes are mandatory. We understand that sometimes life happens and you need to miss a class, this is fine, but please inform us.

The live classes run for 2 hours on Thursdays, from 12:30-2:30 PM EST.

Yes, you will need someone to work on during every class between 1:30-2:30 PM EST. Preferably an adult or older child since working on very little children can be distracting for you, and not conducive to learning. It is strongly recommended that you practice for at least 15-20 minutes per day every each week of the course.

Live classes are for you to get to know the techniques, but PRACTICE MAKE BETTER! You will get WAY more out of this course the more you touch people with CST throughout our time in the course.
